The Dachstein Super Park is one of the biggest snow parks within the Alps during spring and autumn. Snowboarders and freeskiers use the park at the glacier as their training base camp. The skiing pistes are a dream for sun-skiing during summer. Very well prepared, they are ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike.
The high altitude cross-country ski trail at the Dachstein glacier offers more than 18 kilometres of exceptional cross-country skiing opportunities. But you can also explore the glacier on foot. The glacier hiking path will lead you to the Dachstein weather station near the Seethaler Chalet. And on top of all that there are over 100 different climbing routes and 14 different climbing trails available. The Dachstein therefore is the perfect overall summer destination for Alpinists.
