The old-timer car races at the Ennstal Classic have for years been the most admired and most famous old-timer car races in Austria. The drivers of these historic automobiles love the heavenly conditions of the old-timer rally. The Dachstein-Tauern region constitutes the main part of the different rally stages. Through the lush backdrop of the Dachstein-Massif, the valleys of the Schladminger Tauern and the serpentine rivers of the Sölkpass, the passionate old-timer car lovers push these noble vehicles further and higher.

Thursday, 24th July 2008
- 10am: Starting lineup of the old-timer cars in the Gröbminger Hauptstrasse
- 11am: Start for the Agip-mountain-test Stoderzinken
- 4pm: Start of the night prologue in Gröbming
- 8.30pm: Finish in Schladming am Hauptplatz
Friday, 25th July 2008
- 7am: Start of the first car entering the large Tauern loop (600 kilometres)
- 6.55pm: Finish of the first car in Gröbming
Saturday, 26th July 2008
- 11am: starting lineup of the old-timer cars
- 1pm: "Chopard Grand Prix von Gröbming" Demonstration of historic race cars
- 1.30pm: Drei-Kampf Finale
- ca. 3pm: award ceremony with bay-wreath and champagne
